| TZ1 Registry Opens Offices in London and New York | | Sep 17 2008 | |
TZ1 Limited has announced today that the TZ1 Registry has opened a UK office based in London, and a USA office in New York.
Since launching the meta-registry platform for environmental commodities in April 2008, the TZ1 Registry has accomplished some notable achievements.
These achievements include the appointment as a Voluntary Carbon Standard (VCS) Registry, the launch of the first Biodiversity certificate based Registry, and the public listing and viewing of multi-million pre-compliance voluntary credits on behalf of Australian based Green Air.
Brendan Monaghan, who has a comprehensive background in technology, finance and carbon markets, is heading business development activities out of the TZ1 Registry London office. "I am very excited to be part of the TZ1 Registry. It's financial markets based infrastructure helps provide confidence and credibility to a somewhat fragmented voluntary market today."
Given that the TZ1 Registry, an on-line facility holding Voluntary Carbon Credits and Biodiversity Conservation Certificates, is used today by an extensive and diverse customer base mainly in the UK and USA, the opening of these offices this is a natural step for TZ1.
